Our Newest Addition

Her name is Cassie - a Honduran Milksnake or more common name Tangarine Milk Snake. She is the sweetest snake I have ever been around. Such a sweet little face, cute little eyes and a great disposition. Plus, she is absolutely gorgeous. Even Lauren was excited to get her and loves to hold her. More to come, but wanted to share our new baby with everyone. She's about a foot long now and we are hoping we can provide her a good home.

Total Lunar Eclipse

This evening was a lot of fun...we sat outside and watched the lunar eclipse. It probably took about a full 45 minutes to go from 1/4 of the moon covered to the full eclipse. Lauren started to get a bit cold, but we invited our favorite neighbors over to watch it, so it appeased her for a while. It was quite beautiful and spectacular and it was nice to share something like this with Lauren. It was a good learning experience...course it helps that her daddy is so smart. I don't think I could have explained the process to her as well as he did. We got a few great photos of it. Hope you enjoy...will be a while before we see another one of these.
